Fakenham Thursday Market

The Fakenham Thursday Market is in fact two markets:

The Fakenham Charter Market has been a focal point of Fakenham Town Centre since 1250 and is run by Fakenham Town Council; it is situated on Upper Market Place and Lower Market Place.

Fakenham Flea Market is run by James Beck Auctions and sits alongside the auction house on Whitehorse Street Car Park.

The market takes place every Thursday from 8am to 2pm (with some rare exceptions).

Why shop at Fakenham Thursday Market?

Fakenham Thursday Market has a brilliant range of produce and some great bargains to be had each week. Come and grab your shopping and stay for a bite to eat from one of the stalls or a town café. You might even get to hear some fantastic open air live music as well!

Stalls include grocery, bric-a-brac, fresh meat and fish, baked goods, plants, and hot food.

With thanks to Dawn Wakefield for providing stallholder information and Keith Osborn for photography.
